Should we be doing the intro to the book on our own? Then do Chapter one along with lesson 1? (We are doing Level 1.). Thanks
If you would like sure - but the assignments in each packet gives you the exact pages to read or do for exercises. Lesson 1 has all the assignments on that packet - day by day. We skip portions of the book when they are "too much too soon," silly, unimportant, or not a good exercise for learning. It's the best textbook I've found to date, but there is still a lot of fluff. So don't sweat the missing pages. My introduction that I give you with the PDF assignments and the video is all you need. Units do NOT track with lessons exactly. Sometimes they do. When you begin your weekly lesson, watch the lesson, take notes. The NEXT day you do Day one assignment. Between listening, writing, reading, you should have about 4 to 5 hours of Spanish practice throughout the week.
Hope that helps!
