Hola, Sra. Gose!
I've noticed that there are multiple Spanish words that mean the same thing, such as "caminar" and "andar", "volver" and "regresar", "brincar" and "saltar".
Does it matter which verb I use? Can I use whichever I best remember, or do I need to memorize all of them?
Gracias! :)
What a WONDERFUL question!
You can choose your favorite, and stick with that one. Let me help you with these small changes in English, so you can get the "feel" of each verb:
I'm walking: Camino.
I'm strolling: Ando
I'm coming back: Vuelvo.
I'm returning: Regreso
I'm jumping/leaping: Salto
I'm jumping/hopping/skipping: Brinco
Okay!
I've been wondering about that for a while, so muchas gracias para su ayuda!
Claro! ¡Gracias por preguntar!
